IBM is currently seeking PeopleSoft professionals to join our team and help serve our Veterans through improving processes at the Veterans Administration. IBM has a range of opportunities for you to participate by either working in our state-of-the-art delivery center in Rocket Center - Keyser, WV or for the right candidate, supporting the effort remotely. Either way, you will become part of a world-class team and help serve the Veterans who serve our country.

We are currently seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Team Lead. This position is part of a larger PeopleSoft support team and includes both hands-on activities and supervision of other resources.

Preferred candidates will have:
  • Knowledge of and experience applying a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework, e.g., Oracle Unified Method,
  • Strong, leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • Strong customer focus, and
  • Ability to multi-task and achieve results while working under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    Job duties include:
  • providing leadership for the PeopleSoft Application Support team
  • representing the project team in scheduled meetings, including status meetings, Change Control Board, and other meetings as defined by the customer
  • monitoring ticket queues and assign responsibility for resolution
  • ensuring responses are provided within SLA commitment
  • providing Level 2 support for tickets within an assigned PeopleSoft domain area

    Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance is required.

    Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Candidates are not able to refuse project based on travel

    Required
    • High School Diploma/GED
    • At least 5 years experience in PeopleSoft application system implementation/support.
    • At least 2 years experience in working with one or more of the following PeopleSoft HCM v8.9 or higher modules: Benefits, HR, Workforce Admin, Develop Workforce, Compensation, eComp, Profile Management.
    • U.S. citizenship required
    • English: Basic knowledge

    Preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 2 years experience in leading PeopleSoft application support teams.
    • At least 1 year experience in IT Service Management (Help Desk) tools, e.g., Remedy.
    • At least 2 years experience in PeopleSoft US Federal.
    • Certified in OPM
    • Security clearance of Secret - Active
    • English : Intermediate
