As the PeopleSoft Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering security requirements, designing, building, testing, and maintaining the security environments for the PeopleSoft HRMS and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications.

Essential Responsibilities
Role Summary, cont. Identify trends and/or process improvements, and take ownership of all operations-focused tasks for that process(s) including daily work, outsourcing, and auditing. Leverage expertise to work collaboratively across internal operations teams and with GE Businesses to resolve processing issues.
  • Provide work direction, prioritization, troubleshooting assistance, and leadership to team members and consultants in key operational processing activities for Payroll & Benefits.
  • Ensure programs and practice changes are compliant within legal guidelines, security policy and Enterprise Standards.
  • Manage vendor metrics, monthly reviews, escalations, disaster recovery testing, and year-end coordination.
  • Develop broad knowledge of processing procedures to ensure successful execution.
  • Drive process improvement projects and implementation with a focus on customer satisfaction, standardization, and Enterprise Standard Adherence.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional project efforts between key operational processing areas including but not limited to: process improvement, project plans, tracking and reporting progress, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and project methodologies.
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams and establish strong working relationships with GE Businesses and key stakeholders to ensure security is designed and implemented correctly.
  • Resolve complex processing issues and escalations for internal and external customers while promoting “Best in Class” customer service.
  • Ensure all security administration responsibilities are met with particular emphasis on maintaining appropriate current documentation for request forms and compliance with SOX audit requirements.
  • Provide security approvals for Security Owned Roles and pages and serves as the Security Team Pre-approver.
  • Serve as escalation point within the team for access issues within supported applications.
  • Design, develop and maintain security roles and permission lists for PeopleSoft HRMS, CRM, and related applications.
  • Coordinate release activities and working with the technical team for Major/Minor Release migrations, validations & compares.
  • Serve as point person and Security Subject Matter Expert for US and Global CRM applications.
  • Resolve reported Security issues in the PeopleSoft applications while working closely with the Infrastructure and Development staff.
  • Develop, maintain, and process workflow requests on the fulfillment of security requests.
  • Support Audit of Segregation of Duties Controls.
  • Develop and improve Security Standard Operating Procedures, train and monitor offshore resources on their execution, and manage all supplier metrics.
  • Coordinate execution of Security changes based on impacts from special projects with our partners.

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school diploma/GED or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience in Information Technology System Security)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ERP application security controls
    Eligibility Requirements:

  • MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • MUST be willing to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • MUST be willing to work out of a US based GGO office with a strong preference for Schenectady, NY.

    Desired Characteristics

  • Systems application expertise; (PeS or Oracle) knowledge desired

  • Prior information technology controls, systems audit, and/or ERP experience
  • Proficiency in SQL skills
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certified (if GE internal candidate) or equivalent quality experience
  • Driving desire to simplify and improve processes
  • Strong desire to ensure all compliance and company policies are adhered to regarding the protection of employee data privacy and Segregation of Duties
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to analyze data and search/match content across multiple data sources
  • Systems aptitude
