Provides professional nursing care to all people of all ages and their families. Uses knowledge of nursing to assess, plan, intervene, evaluate and document care. Formulates nursing diagnosis for treating actual or potential health problems, teaching, counseling and providing care. Delegates appropriate tasks assistive nursing personnel. Displays professional practice as set forth in The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s standard of care, the institution’s mission and goals of the Nursing Dept.

Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Nursing Program required
BSN preferred
Current NYS RN License, current BLS/ACLS/PALS required
Certification preferred
One year of recent relevant medicine or medical surgical experience preferred
