- Req # 12844 Functions as part of a team to increase internal Palomar Health expertise in improvement and innovation efforts in order to achieve organizational excellence and deliver ideal patient care. Consults with leaders and facilitates performance improvement teams to ensure appropriate use of resources (i.e. people, dollars, equipment, supplies and space) through the design and implementation of effective and efficient processes. Applies appropriate specialized tools and techniques such as benchmarking, Lean, queuing theory, and statistical process control to complete the work in question. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
Preferred Education : Masters Degree, Training in LEAN or Six Sigma for Healthcare
Minimum Experience : 1 - 3 years in a management engineering or project management role
Preferred Experience : 3 - 5 years as a management engineer or project manager in healthcare
