Bachelor’s degree in a Geoscience field required; M.S. degree; advanced training in petrophysics highly preferred
7+ years experience in the application of petrophysical analysis to petroleum geology and engineering problems; 15+ years preferred experience for a senior level role
Range of experience (service contractor, major producer, independent) preferred
Strong experience working with core and core-based petrophysical analysis required
Recent experience in the evaluation of unconventional reservoirs
Experienced Techlog or PowerLog user
Effective problem solving and facilitation skills required;
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple, simultaneous tasks required;
Must meet Samson’s vehicle insurance requirements.
