Pharmaceutical GES Scheduler Elkton, VA Posted: 6/28/2013 Category: Scheduler Job Type: Contractor Minimum Experience: 5+ Required Education: BS Desired Benefits: 3 Weeks Paid Vacation 401k W/O Matching Dental Medical Pharmaceutical Production Scheduler JOB #3485 Location: Elkton, VA Duration: 1 year + Description: Prepare and manage overall life cycle of Biotech program Schedules - Initiation, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Qualification, and Validation activities. •Prepare integrated master schedules from inception to Asset Realization- baseline change management, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessment. •Use Primavera or MS Project and Excel to generate performance reports and customized status reports, identifying and reconciling discrepancies with the project schedule/plan. •Develop, implement, perform, and guide earned value management (EVM) policies, procedures, and practices. •Develop dashboard reports to communicate master production schedule performance. •Gather and validate scheduling information from multiple groups both within and outside project team. •Resource load schedules and provide utilization analysis. •Identify schedule opportunities and potential slippages as they arise. •Provide critical path analysis and present critical path activities within schedules. •Support Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis. Requirements: •BS in Engineering or Science related field preferred. •5+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech Manufacturing Environment. •5+ years of experience in Scheduling. •Strong to Excellent understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations. •Understanding of GMP, FDA, EMA, and ICH requirements for the production of pharmaceutical products is a plus. •Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills •Advanced knowledge of Primavera or MS Project and Microsoft Office applications required.
