As a member of the health care team, perform all necessary in-patient and out-patient pharmaceutical duties to ensure optimal and safe patient outcomes.
Use the most recent concepts of pharmaceutical care and drug utilization in all patient care provided.
All work is accomplished in accordance with the policies and regulations of local, state, and federal authorities, as well as, accepted standards of practice.
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Completion of pharmacy internship and licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by passing examination of the State Board of Pharmacy or by reciprocal licensure.
Able to articulate and demonstrate commitment to the Philosophy, Values and Mission of Mercy Hospital and the Trinity Health System.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, the Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior with the foremost consideration of providing safe patient care..
