ElderScript Services, a long-term care, closed-door pharmacy, seeks an Pharmacy AR Supervisor for our pharmacy service center located in Tupelo, Mississippi. Ideal candidates will be responsible for the following:
Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of bills that are mailed to facilities and the statements to our customers in the facilities. Manage updates, changes and improvements needed to ensure Nursing Home and Guarantor billing processes are running efficiently using IT systems and all other resources. Communicate with other billing and pharmacy departments as they relate to resident and facility billing. Coordinate Month-end close to ensure all processes/steps are completed. Report Month-end Checklists to Manager prior to running bills. Ensure all necessary changes as deemed by the pharmacy inquiry sheet/census are made and any necessary split bills and re-bills to other payor types are completed timely. Report monthly to Manager all missed/un-reported census updates and contact facility to obtain data. Ensure census tracking is completed and follow-up is done on delinquent homes. Ensure all unbilled reports are reviewed prior to bills being printed. Ensure Re-bills are completed timely and resolved before Month-end. Responds or delegates billing inquiries courteously, accurately, tactfully and in a reasonable amount of time. Manages and schedules NH billing employees to ensure appropriate coverage. Ensure all paper bills get prepared accurately and timely. Review AR adjustments monthly. Ensure Facility AR accounts are reconciled monthly. Report Facility Aging to Manager monthly. Reconcile A/R accounts prior to making calls. Call responsible parties regularly regarding any past due accounts. Prepare Refunds and ensure all refunds are processed timely. Work any rejections that may occur due to re billing of charges. Generate split billing report and process cross over charges

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: Has a comprehensive knowledge of billing Medicare/Medicaid Has a comprehensive knowledge of billing private insurance and associated regulations (e.g. Medicare Part D) Has a background in pharmaceutical protocol and long term care facilities Experience in QS1 is strongly preferred. Able to communicate effectively and has the ability to interact with various clients who express their complaints Management experience Ability to improve, create and implement processes BS Degree in Accounting or other business degree with concentration in accounting or finance.
