We are seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy delivery driver for our busy South Miami-Kinder Group Pharmacy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. o Drives vehicle to deliver medical supplies to client's home or place of business. o Promotes timely deliveries as scheduled to patients. o Sets delivery routes and contributes to the development of delivery route and procedures. o Maintains accurate pick up process. o Checks in all triplicates and gives to Pharmacist In Charge or designated Pharmacy Technician. o Handles problems with deliveries and/or customer service complaints related to deliveries. o Obtains patient signature on all necessary transactions. o Maintains vehicle maintenance and all records (invoices). o On-call availability for problems/questions in the delivery department. o Places stock on shelves or racks. o Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected merchandise. o Loads delivery vehicle. Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other Skills and Abilities : o Ability to read road map. o Must have knowledge of basic DMV regulations. Education and/or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Valid Florida Driver's License. Proof of Liability Insurance, if driving own vehicle. Must have clean driving record and minimum 5 years driving history.
