Oversees the integration of medication related technologies with operational workflow to ensures both
long term and daily operational technology needs are being met. Works in conjunction with the Informatics Pharmacist on any technology related initiatives. Involved with the managing of multiple medication databases, and in the research, implementation and support of current and future medication related technologies.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a financial related field with a minor in computer science or information systems and 2 years experience in project management, networking, programming, and microcomputers. Or Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with at least 5 years of computer information experience preferred. One year experience with MEDITECH (Magic) as well as developing and delivering training programs preferred.
