Assists the Pharmacist by performing department responsibilities related to the processing of inpatient medication orders and outpatient prescriptions. Responsibility is limited to nonjudgmental tasks, and all activities related to medication dispensing, labeling and repackaging must be completed under the direct supervision of, and specifically approved by, a registered Pharmacist. Participates as a team member in the delivery of appropriate medication therapy and communication to all internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
