The Philanthropy Specialist is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with the community representative of Hospice of Michigan (HOM) and for development activities including special events, third party fundraisers, statewide development project teams, and assisting assigned development director with annual campaign, and special projects. This position will provide administrative/clerical assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required (associates degree with equivalent work experience may be considered).
  • Two years experience in the development arena with a strong concentration in special events, communications and/or major gifts experience preferred.
  • Experience in special events planning strongly preferred.
