At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a Phlebotomist to work as a floater in Framingham and the surrounding area.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
The Phlebotomist (Floater) performs daily phlebotomy activities and maintains a safe and professional environment and performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. The Phlebotomist maintains required records and documentation. He/she demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, employees and all other customers.

- Greets and communicates with all customers in a courteous manner
- Demonstrates knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and ensures that phlebotomy and specimens are collected accurately and on time
- Maintains required records and documentation
- Performs related duties such as data entry, filing, ordering stock supplies, aiding coworkers as needed, and answering the telephone in a friendly and professional manner.
High school diploma or equivalent required, Medical terminology helpful, · Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Work Experience: · At least two years of Phlebotomy experience. Excellent Keyborad/data entry skills preferred.
Special Requirements: Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements; weekends, holidays and overtime. May be required to work occasional on-call duties weekends, evenings and early AM. Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and driving record that meets Quest Diagnostics driver safety guidelines.
Demonstrates good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; is able to manage concerns of patients and employees in a professional manner. Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high volume setting.
