Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is a privately-held company that successfully operates Job Corps, corrections, medical, and international and domestic workforce development contracts. MTC has been serving disadvantaged populations for 30 years and employs nearly 10,000 workers. MTC Medical LLC was established in 2005 to provide comprehensive medical, dental, pharmaceutical and mental health care to offenders housed in correctional facilities.
East Texas Treatment Facility (ETTF), owned and operated by MTC, is the largest treatment facility within the State of Texas. Contracted with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, dedicated employees provide rehabilitation and educational services to support the successful community reintegration of offenders in the In-Prison DWI-Recovery, Substance Abuse Felony Punishment and Intermediate Sanction Treatment Programs. Reports to the Health Services Administrator. Works under the direct supervision of the Supervising RN and administrative direction of the Health Services Administrator. Performs technical duties in the field of patient care and participates in the general healthcare of patients in compliance with MTC Medical and East Texas Treatment Facility (ETTF) directives.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months related experience, current certification or registration as a phlebotomist in the State of Texas. Must possess current CPR certification. Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Post Hire Requirements:
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements.
