The Phlebotomist is responsible for the timely and accurate collection, transport, processing and storage of laboratory specimens. Acts as a primary representative for the laboratory to the patient. The Phlebotomist must be proficient in venipuncture, finger and heel punctures. Candidate should have knowledge of medical terminology. One year of full-time experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is preferred.
Weekend shifts and holidays available.
Phlebotomy certificate required.
Minimum high school degree or GED.
