This internship will assist the Wildlife Conservation Society's Staff Photographer in a variety of duties from pre- through post-production of photo and media assignments in a non-profit environment at five NY-based parks including events, education, and other zoo activities.
Maintaining and checking out media equipment, helping with logistics and shoots, coordinating models and releases, post-production processing and editing digital images, paperwork related to assignments, research on subject matter, shooting as a backup photographer on certain assignments. Scanning. Other duties as assigned.
High school or college community service or credit letter (if applicable), free parking, and admission to the Bronx Zoo.
Helping staff photographer at five zoos and various events. Working with 116 years of archival and current images of the Wildlife Conservation Society.
Opportunity to learn job requirements of a staff photographer including photo usage, rights, licensing, and digital asset management at a non-profit organization.
Hours 20 hours per month
