Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing clinical treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist as well as formulating a comprehensive treatment plan in conjunction with other interdisciplinary team members. This position will work out of various treatment centers in the Farmington, Farmington Hills and Ypsilanti areas.

Core Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Michigan
Leadership skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to learn new skills
Ability and willingness to set priorities
Ability to work as part on an interdisciplinary team and serve as a team member
Ability to lift, maneuver and carry up to 30lbs.
Acceptable driving record
Acceptable under the State of Michigan Good Moral Character Statute
Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules

Additional Qualifications:
Previous experience with Traumatic Brain Injury or Spinal Cord Injury
Previous experience with Children and Adolescents preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
Willingness to travel locally
