Provide physical therapy evaluation, treatment, and instruction for the purpose of preventing or reducing the incidence and severity of physical disability, bodily malfunction or pain from injury, disease or other physical condition.
Bachelor’s Degree in an Accredited Physical Therapy Program. NJ Physical Therapy license. Use of analytical skills and independent judgment to plan, develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans. Skill in performing a range of manual physical therapy techniques for patients. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, students, peers and other healthcare professionals. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of operation and maintenance of related therapy equipment.
