Chief Division of Infectious Diseases

Physician shall provide direct patient care services and supervision of residents and fellows in the HIV Clinic, Infectious Disease Clinic and Private Practice. These services are to be executed in a manner that insures the successful execution of the Strategic Infectious Disease plan in conjunction with the Chair.


(a) Work as a supervising attending in the HIV clinic (20 Hours/week).

(b) Work as an attending on a rotating basis in the Infectious Disease clinic.

(c) Take Infectious Disease service consultations on a rotating basis.

(d) Will teach and supervise Infectious Disease Fellows.

(e) Will teach medical students rotating in the division

(f) Will attend all teaching conferences with Infectious Disease fellows as mandated by the ACGME.

(g) Will teach medical residents in the department of medicine on a rotating basis.

(h) Will be expected to develop a private practice.

(i) Will conduct/participate in research activity in the division.

(j) Will participate and cooperate in antibiotics control with the clinical pharmacist.
