The primary function of this position is to pilot the company owned aircraft. The aircraft is always operated with two pilots.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain full knowledge of all regulations and procedures that apply to the operation of Company aircraft.
Maintain a current pilot's license, first-class physical and pilot logbook as prescribed in FAA and Company regulations.
Responsible for preflight preparation of the assigned flight including route planning, weather, NOTAMS, FAA filing requirements, aircraft performance, fuel availability, catering, and any other requirement deemed necessary for the safe completion of the trip.
Ensure thorough coordination with the maintenance department that the aircraft is airworthy and all write-ups are cleared prior to flight.
Brief the passengers on details of the trip, emergency procedures and location of emergency equipment, time in route, cruising altitude, in route weather, destination weather and any anticipated ATC delays.
Responsible for the crew and aircraft while away from home station and for procuring any assistance necessary to ensure schedule reliability.
Responsible for completing the daily flight and maintenance log.
Coordinate with the crew and the maintenance department on the status of the aircraft at the completion of each flight.
Education and/or Experience
Must hold a current and valid Commercial Pilot Certificate, or better, with multi-engine land and instrument rating, and has a minimum of 1,500 total hours, 250 hours in turboprop, 500 hours in multi-engine aircraft and 50 hours in make and model.
Must have successfully completed a manufacturers ground and flight, simulator based initial/recurrent training course for the make and model aircraft being operated within the past 12 months, or complete questionnaire and meet approval of Companys insurance provider.
Class I Medical eligibility
Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
