Fabricate, assemble, install, and hydro test process piping systems, for offshore drilling jackets, skids, and decks. The employee is expected to climb and work in high places that may exceed 200 feet in height and also work in confined spaces. The employee must work overtime, nights and weekends as required by the workload.
A high school diploma, or general education diploma(GED) and 3-5 years experience and /or training is required. Persons holding this position must submit and pass a blueprint reading test. Persons holding this position must have the ability to perform basic pipefitting functions and processes such as, reading blueprints and drawings, perfom layouts, build piping systems to specified tolerances and use industry machines, tools and equipment.
