Jefferson County is currently accepting applications for a Planner to p erform project management, technical, administrative and professional work in the Planning and Zoning Division .
Review development and zoning cases. Make presentations at public hearings related to proposed development applications. Provide land use and zoning information to the general public. Manage projects, providing demographic and statistical data. Represent the county at external meetings. Manage the development and revision of community plans, regulations and customer service guides. Provide customer service to public and private sector officials, applicants, consulting professionals, and county residents.
Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. The position will require over two years in a planning related field .
Colorado Driver's License - at hire. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification or equivalent - preferred at hire.
