Promotional forecasting of ADS and pre-ship of distributions.
Management of promotional, turn base and raw service levels.
Management of vendor DSD programs on high velocity promotional programs.
Responsible for all facets of inventory management for their assigned categories.
Promotional forecasting using company sales data and history of retail price point and AD placement. Daily review of added or deleted contracts affecting the AD forecast financials and procurement of goods.
Management of, system generated or manual store distributions.
Provides direction to wholesaler for product substitutions and any proration of product after consultation and approval by the Category Manger.
Works with the wholesaler procurement and demand planning associates and assures adequate inventory and excellent service level for sales programs.
Responsible for maintaining a 95.0% or greater raw service level and 97.0% or greater base service level.
Responsible for inventory management of all assigned categories. Scope includes LOA (left over ad), disc liability, short coded, dead and excess.
Pull Store On Hand Data / Sell Through Report - issue coupon extensions where necessary on store/WHSE overstocks.
Work store data collection site each week to support individual stores with heavy inventory. Work with category manager to issue a coupon if necessary.
SPECIAL SKILLS, TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE
College degree preferred
2-4 years previous experience
Retail, multi-location supermarket experience a plus
