Position Responsibilities (key duties, scope of position, goals, expectations, skill requirements, travel requirements)
  • Be an integral part of the plant management team
  • Ensure controls are in place to safeguard the company's financial assets
  • Create financial transparency to all stakeholders
  • Provide financial analysis for management decisions, that improves business performance
  • Learn the operations and ask questions about what you see
  • Educate plant staff on the financial impact of operational decisions
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes at the plant
  • SAP and Holcim Accounting and Reporting (HARP) specialist at the plant

Educational Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred, with emphasis in finance and/or accounting
  • Graduate studies in business management is desirable
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus

Other Related Experiences Required or Preferred

  • 7 – 10 years industrial manufacturing experience, in accounting or finance, including process cost control, variance analysis, budget development and management reporting
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel and Access
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system is desirable
