FPC of Valdosta is seeking a Plant Manager for our client's facility in California. This Plant Manager will oversee and manage all of the activities related to the operations of the facility. He/she will facilitate daily communications between the customers, supply chain, and operations.
*Will act as the General Manager for the entire facility managing all operations and staff. (PPEs, staffing, discipline etc.)
*Work with supply chain in regards to scheduling, expediting and planning product movements.
*Manages the facility's budget, approve procurement requests, negotiates pricing, etc.
*Oversees the development and management of capital projects.
*Makes sure employees training needs are being met.
*Tracks and reports statistical information for all operations at the facility as well as produces monthly operations reports.
*Assists customers with new products and procedures; plans and implements procedures in accordance with both the customer and company needs.
*Will abide by all safety procedures, participate in appropriate safety training, and show a commitment to EHS within the facility.
*BS or higher degree in Chemical Engineering .
*Must be a leader and have proven leadership skills/experience.
*10+ yrs. experience of progressive operations experience in a chemical plant environment.
*Prior experience dealing with customers and supply chain. Problem solving experience needed.
*Project Management/Implementation experience required
*Experience working with Federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
*Clear communication skills-English-written and spoken
