If this sounds like you and your profile, bring your talent and enthusiasm for your work and join our team as the Plant Manager for our Wichita Kansas location!Summary of Position:Provide leadership and direction to ensure the warehouse operates safely and efficiently to meet and exceed the customers requirements on-time and with the highest quality. Develop and implement site operational and financial plans to support corporate objectives and continuously improve the warehouse operations. The Plant Manager will have responsibilities for the functional areas of safety, quality, lean, material control, planning, production, maintenance and transportation for the warehouse. Key Accountabilities: Lead the warehouse operations to ensure the achievement of financial targets and KPIs for safety, quality, on-time delivery, metal utilization, and productivity. Responsible for managing the warehouse P&L, resources, and initiating cost reduction projects. Provide regular reports on the warehouses performance to corporate leadership, including opportunities and risk assessment. Provide guidance, motivation, and performance management for the warehouse leadership team. Develop plans and procedures to ensure the safety of all employees and visitors of the warehouse. Ensure operations and equipment is in compliance to corporate guidelines and OSHA Standards. Responsible for the receipt, preservation, and accuracy of inventories. Maintain equipment and resources to provide maximum availability and minimize unplanned downtime. Evaluate and recommend new equipment purchases to enhance quality, capabilities and productivity. Responsible for building maintenance and security. Analyze complex problems into manageable pieces and implement timely corrective actions. Create meaningful performance metrics to monitor overall warehouse performance. Assist with customer problems, including on site visits where necessary. Facilitate lean practices in the plant and produce measurable results. Attend regional and corporate meetings when required. Minimum Requirements: 4 year degree in Operations Management, Business, or Engineering. A minimum of 5 years experience leading operations for 100+ employees Proven experience driving breakthrough improvements Prior P&L responsibility Knowledge of inventory control tools and techniques Proven experience developing metrics and implementing countermeasures Experience using lean manufacturing tools and techniques Preferred Requirements: Green belt in six sigma Aerospace background Experience leading a fast paced, high volume production team ThyssenKrupp Aerospace NA offers an excellent benefit package.
