How you will contribute: This is a great opportunity to perfect your design skills while playing a key role on all aspects of plumbing design projects. As a Designer you will produce spool and assembly drawings for shop fabrication and coordinate plumbing systems for installation crews. Designers attend turnover meetings, review code requirements specific to building and layouts, produce field surveys and stock lists, and visit jobsites as needed. You will work alongside an experienced Plumbing Designer to gain knowledge of the industry, learn the software package, and develop working knowledge of the codes used in this industry. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented, results driven environment.

Experience Required:

What you need to qualify: Ahern will help make the most of your Associate's degree in a design/drafting related program. Being proficient in AutoCAD, having strong math and analytical skills, and the ability to learn specific software and codes will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.
