Responsible for identifying opportunities and executing sales and marketing tactics to increase sales and market penetration of Starz Entertainment (STE) video programming at the Point of Sale of a major cable affiliate.
Create and implement specific product, skills training and sales incentive programs.
Identify industry trends from a consumer, cable affiliate, and STE perspective, keeping current with industry trends and STE’s strategic business initiatives and competitive activities, incorporating this information and resources into point of sale action plans.
Gather necessary data to analyze the effectiveness of overall point of sales strategy and tactics.
Recommend improvements that will increase the effectiveness of the POS programs to drive sales penetration and add value to the cable affiliate.
Become the key point of contact in establishing open and supportive communications with cable affiliate call centers, representatives in all sales channels and call center management to promote and sustain positive and effective affiliate relationships.
Develop affiliate sales incentive metrics to support tracking, data collection, analysis and reporting of Point of Sale Specialist sales performance.
Track subscriber and revenue results in respective area to ensure subscriber growth goals are achieved and propose budget recommendations based on POS performance in respective area of responsibility.
Maintain internal database to ensure the appropriate quantity of POS collateral materials to respective call centers.
Desired Job Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred; Minimum two years related experience; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in cable, satellite, telecommunications or entertainment industry a plus.
Client services, project management, agency experience.
Proven communication skills - Oral, written and presentation.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.
