Current Job Opportunity Summary:
CSG is currently seeking a Public Policy Fellow for its Westborough, MA office. The position will be a one-year fellowship to support tracking of- and influence on- public policy related to energy efficiency and renewable energy. The Fellow will report to CSG's Policy Analyst and Senior Vice President of Policy & Advocacy.

Support CSG staff on policy interpretation, dissemination, and presentation as well as coordinate advocacy activities
Coordinate efforts of a national coalition of clean energy businesses, the National SAVE Energy Coalition , with a mission of policy education and grassroots business mobilization

Collaborate with CSG’s Policy Analyst to:
Calculate CSG’s greenhouse gas footprint and manage associated compliance with the Climate Registry program
Manage small business lines and track relevant policy developments
Coordinate meetings and operations of CSG’s Policy Network of 25+ managers from CSG’s national offices
Attend public hearings at regulatory agencies
Assist in revising and submitting public comments to regulatory agencies
Manage grant funds received for policy research and development

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Economics, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related discipline
Ability to communicate with senior staff, at CSG and other industry partners, and coordinate their efforts
Ability to structure tasks for others to ensure timely follow through with clear direction
Some understanding of public policy development
Ability to provide timely research online and through phone calls
Superb written and oral communication skills
Organized, self-starter and innovative thinker with ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to realize them

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

Compensation package includes paid holidays, 80% paid medical, 50% paid dental, paid life & AD&D and paid STD & LTD insurance coverage, plus employer matching retirement plan
