Under general supervision, this position exists to provide quality diagnostic patient testing and for sleep studies. The Polysomnographic Technician cares for patients in the age ranges listed: adolescent, adult and geriatric.Manages all assigned supplies and equipment in the Sleep Lab. Maintains CPR certification. Competently operates sleep equipment.Completes all appropriate paper work for physician interpretation.Performs sleep procedures.Assures that patients charges are timely and accurate.Performs miscellaneous clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, etc.Assists in Quality Assessment and improvement activities.Qualifications:Prefer one year experience as a technologist or technician in Sleep Lab.Polysomnographic registry or registry eligible.Current BLS Required.
