Experienced family nurse practitioner position to assist in pulmonology/critical care office and hospital. Works in collaboration with Physicians to provide complete physical examination, diagnosis and treatment of patient illness. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and NP program. Acute care hospital experience required. Current Indiana Licensure. CPR required. Proficiency in computer applications necessary for job related electronic communication such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and ability to quickly learn system specific applications such as Portal, etc. Strong written and oral communication skills a must for patient communication and education forums.
Advanced Nurse Practitioner Degree from an accredited college or university (Diploma required)
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university (Diploma required)
Current Indiana Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and DEA licensure
NP license and 1+ years as a NP in Family Medicine, ER or Urgent care
RN license and 3 years as an RN in acute care setting
Proficient in computer and technology skills of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and patient data access.
3 years in a physician office, ER or Urgent care setting
Public Speaking and Group Education experience
Excellent communication skills
