Responsible for handling special projects as assigned for the entire Community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handling of Special Projects for the Community
Resident mattress flipping.
Re-arranging resident furniture.
Storing of resident property in storage bins.
Classroom set up.
Conference center set up.
Chapel set up.
Pick up and delivery for residents (all items).
Special set up in the restaurants.
On call for housekeeping employees.
Fill in for absent housekeeping employees.
Move/rearrange office furniture and equipment.
Treasure Sales pick up, delivery and storage.
Housekeeping supply deliveries.
Staff pick up and delivery request.
Corporate purchasing office furniture uncrating, pick up and delivery.
Flat bed deliveries.
Maintaining the Cleanliness of the Community
Maintaining a Working Knowledge of Building Cleaning
Trash Pick Up
Have a working knowledge of housekeeping equipment.
Porta/Pac Vacuum Cleaner
All carpet cleaning extraction equipment
High speed burnishers
Rotary floor machines
Must have a knowledge of floor care procedures
High speed spray buffing
High speed burnishing
Deep scrub and finish re-coat
Must stay abreast of all chemicals
Must attend all in services
Must be able to properly use chemicals
Must follow all safety precautions
1.Must stay abreast of all Community rules, policies and regulations.
2.Must attend all department meetings.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred but not required. Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written

Responsibilities of the position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, push and pull over 50 pounds in using the aid of a hand truck or get assistance. Moving furniture, standing or one’s feet for a long period of time, bending and extensive walking. Ability to push/pull all equipment for floor care.
