This position is the key focal point for developing, updating and revising the Regional Portfolio Executive Summaries and Real Estate Portfolio Strategies developed by the Portfolio Strategy &Consulting (PS&C) team. This also requires the creation, revision and updating of templates used to develop these deliverables.
Must be conversant in real estate business activities to effectively liaise with PS&C Global and Regional Real Estate Advisors and third party providers in matters related to real estate strategy development.
This position is accountable for compiling global real estate portfolio data and key metrics as well as space supply and demand projections and organization occupancy data.
Responsible for integrating Business Unit (BU) strategic drivers and regional or local market analysis information gathered by PS&C Global and Regional Real Estate Advisors into the appropriate regional Portfolio Executive Summaries and local Real Estate Portfolio Strategies.
Works closely with Business Unit Planners to ensure inputs and outcomes of the Business Partner Space Demand (BPSD) process (a component of the Corporate Business Planning process) are reviewed, documented and incorporated into the Regional Portfolio Executive Summaries and Real Estate Portfolio Strategies.
This position is the Process Owner for the Chevron Business & Real Estate Services (CBRES) Planning Process and is accountable to lead the CBRES Planners Network, ensuring alignment of longer range strategies with the more near term office location space requirements. Ensures BPSD results are reviewed with CBRES Planners.
This individual must have very strong analytical and planning skills as they will be the analytical resource for the Global and Regional Real Estate advisors. Role must have proficiency in excel and excellent written and oral communication skills.
The scope of this activity is global and Chevron wide – it includes both CBRES and non-CBRES managed locations.
Responsible for assimilating various types of real estate portfolio data from multiple data sources into Regional Portfolio Executive Summaries and Real Estate Portfolio Strategies.
Works closely with resources within the CBRES Decision Strategy & Support organization to maximize efficient use of Synergy real estate portfolio data and identify trends from that data that may impact strategic real estate plans.
Responsible for establishing the process for annual refresh of portfolio strategies; ensuring all summaries and strategies are up to date.
Updates plans on an as-needed basis as driven by changing BU demands and/or data assimilated from engagement sessions with Real Estate Advisors, Operations and Projects Region Managers and BU contacts.
Ensures consistency and alignment between the real estate strategies and the regional executive summaries.
May be significantly involved and assist in analysis of impact on Chevron’s global and regional real estate portfolio strategy as a result of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) or new business opportunities. May prepare business and financial analysis from a Real Estate perspective while participating on M&A teams
Uses broad knowledge of Chevron and Business Unit operations and business objectives to improve analysis and provide insights.
This position may require 5-15% travel.
3-5 years of related experience.
Strong working knowledge of corporate real estate best practices and in gathering and analysis of corporate real estate portfolio metrics.
Demonstrates strong analytical skills to take many diverse pieces of portfolio data and synthesize and summarize into an overall solution. Identifies trends from data inputs. Effectively solves problems rather than symptoms.
Real estate strategy development and transaction execution experience.
Demonstrated experience in process development and project delivery; implementing projects/processes that require a behavioral or change management component.
Strong team work skills.

Leadership and influencing skills.
Experience with Strategy Deployment.
Related Bachelor's degree preferred.
