The position seeks talented candidates with excellent synthetic organic chemistry skills and independent leadership qualities. The candidate is expected to carry out multi-step synthesis and develop new methods for sustainable catalysis. The candidate must also be able to train beginning researchers in laboratory techniques for organic synthesis. The candidate must have a positive professional record and good interpersonal skills.
Ph.D. in organic chemistry
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experience and expertise in synthetic organic chemistry
Ability to work independently
Experience in asymmetric catalysis, multi-step synthesis, and small molecule synthesis. Experience training other researchers in organic synthesis laboratory techniques.
