Job Description:
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute is an interdisciplinary institution dedicated to conducting basic, clinical and translational research on conditions and diseases that affect children, and is part of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania research community.

The Spinner research laboratory is working on several projects related to the genetics of pediatric diseases to which the postdoc could contribute, including the genetics of Biliary Atresia and ring chromosomes.

The ideal candidate possesses experience in molecular biology and computational experience with large data sets, as well as varied molecular biology lab skills including cloning, reporter assays and western blots.

REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. in biomedical sciences or related fields, or M.D. with research experience required.

• Proficient skills of molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and genetics.
