Job Responsibilities

Contribute to on-going experimental research on working memory in deaf and studies of sign language production and comprehension. Organize and maintain excel spread sheets for various experiments and data bases. Conduct statistical analysis of experimental results. Supervise research assistants and student volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications

A doctoral degree is required. Background in psycholinguistics, experimental design.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of Excel and SPSS (or other statistical software). Conversational ASL fluency is required. Interact effectively with co-workers. Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures. Ability to relate well to others within the LLCN environment. Highly motivated self-starter, with a high energy level and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and signing. Well organized, ability to meet deadlines, detail oriented; possess good judgment and common sense. Demonstrate a high level of cross-cultural sensitivity.
