The postdoctoral fellow will work with Carola Wenk’s research group. Dr. Wenk works in computational geometry, with interests in shape matching, geospatial data analysis, computational biology, and other applied areas. The position entails performing research in collaboration with the group members in areas of interest to the group; current interests include geospatial trajectory analysis, map construction, shape matching, and geometric algorithms for uncertain data. This position entails excellent training opportunities in core computer science areas and in interfacing areas (discrete mathematics, geographic information science, biomedicine, proteomics).
