The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to study the recovery of chemicals from industrial wastewaters using electrodialysis and other electrochemically-based methods. The initial appointment will be for one year with the option of a second year pending suitable performance and continuity of funding. Salary will be based on qualifications and prior experience. The anticipated start date for the appointment is January 7, 2013.

Pre-employment Screening Requirements
- Ph.D. in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry or other closely related field. *Expertise in one or more of the following areas: electrochemistry, electrodialysis, ion chromatography and membrane-based separations. *Prior experience in conducting experimental research. *Excellent oral and written communication skills.
