Major/Essential Duties of Job
Prepare manuscripts from data generated on assigned research projects Implement SSR marker projects for D genome sequencing Identify molecular markers associated with oil content in cotton seeds Review literature on fiber maturity Present research findings at scientific meetings
Other job related duties as required
Ph.D., D.V.M., or M.D. with recent degree in relevant field
Ph.D. in Plant Breeding
Familiarity with appropriate laboratory, farm and/or technical equipment. Ability to effectively utilize a computer and applicable software to create databases, perform statistical analyses, present data and perform other computer related tasks as directed by the supervisor.
