The Position:
We are seeking candidates for a postdoctoral fellow position in
the ImmunoOncology group at EMD Serono. The candidate will work
in our state-of-the-art EMD Serono Research Institute located in
Billerica, MA, and closely interact with the ImmunoOncology drug
discovery labs. The successful candidate will study the
mechanisms regulating immunological responses, with the goal to
develop novel tumor immunotherapies.

Postdoctoral tenure at EMD Serono is for two years, with the
option to extend for an additional year. Postdoc salaries are
competitive, commensurate with other industry programs. EMD
Serono offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes;

account plan. Postdocs are also eligible to receive a yearly
bonus based on individual and company performance.


Applicants should have the following qualifications: (1) A
recent PhD from an internationally reputable institution (*see
below); (2) Extensive practical research experience in the fields
of cell biology and immunology or cancer immunology; (3) At least
one first-author research publication in a prominent scientific
journal; (4) A demonstrated ability to think critically and
independently; (5) Strong written and oral communication skills;
(6) A demonstrated ability to collaborate and interact
effectively with scientific colleagues.

  • Junior scientists with one previous postdoctoral position will
also be considered.
