The postdoctoral researcher, based in the Elderd Lab, will be responsible for investigating the effects of global climate change on host-pathogen dynamics using both field and theoretical modeling approaches. The individual will also be responsible for writing grants and preparing manuscripts based on the research. Additional opportunities exist to explore the effects of tri-trophic interactions on disease dynamics as well as using Bayesian methods to model epidemic and epizootic outbreaks.
Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Ecology, or related field.
Experience in both empirical and theoretical ecology.
