The nano-bio lab at the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry of the University of Oklahoma, USA, has a postdoctoral position available for candidates who are interested in working on nanomedicine, nanobiotechnology and tissue engineering. The ideal candidate should have received or is going to receive a doctoral degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biomaterials, nanotechnology, nanobiotechnology, nanomedicine, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or medicine. Experience in at least one of the following areas is highly desired: nanomaterials and biomaterials synthesis, nanomedicine, drug delivery, gene therapy, cancer, stem cells, bone biology, and tissue engineering. The lab is fully equipped with facilities for biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, materials synthesis, phage display, bacterial cell surface display, bacterial and mammalian cell culture, and in vitro and in vivo studies for cancer treatment and tissue regeneration. The lab has recently purchased a state-of-the-art biological AFM, thus experience in Bio-AFM will be a plus but not required.
