This individual will serve as system administrator for the maintenance of Nuance Powerscribe application and its integration with GE Centricity RIS-IC's Mammography module and EPIC's Radiant module. This person will also be responsible for training users on the Powerscribe application. This individual will work under the supervision of the Radiology Systems support Powerscribe Lead, and will report to the Manager of Radiology Systems Support. He/She will work closely with other Ancillary Clinical Systems team members and is expected to use his/her own initiative and judgment in carrying out daily system administration tasks.
Job Qualifications Experience resolving software problems associated with the integration of Nuance Powerscribe, Centricity RIS-IC and Radiant
Experience maintaining and monitoring Powerscribe interfaces
Experience creating, maintaining and organizing all documentation related to the integration of these applications
Experience working with vendors to ensure the application is kept up to date and maintained per specifications along with the specification of the Radiology Department and Medical Enterprise
A strong understanding of the Radiology workflow in relation to the integration of Powerscribe, RIS-IC and Radiant
Experience providing user support
Experience providing Radiology system support with the following applications: RIS-IC, GE Centricity PACS, MagView etc.
Ability to provide after hours and weekend support when needed
Ability to act as the technical liaison/contact between Nuance Powerscribe and the Medical Enterprise
