Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Work with engineers to develop data collection and instrumentation strategies to analyze large test data sets.
  • Coordinate with Vehicle Operations, Data Services and Electrical groups for instrumentation installation.
  • Track instrumentation deployment and calibration requirements.
  • Review, test and resource advanced data collection technologies from suppliers.
  • Program, install, test and optimize data collection systems for wireless data transmission to the PACCAR Technical Center.
  • Write and optimize analysis scripts for defined test parameters.
  • Create reports and present findings to management.

Qualifications & Skills
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years applicable experience.
  • Experience in high-level programming to analyze test data, preferably in MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with automotive CAN bus systems is highly desirable.
  • UNIX/Linux experience desirable.
  • Ability to work well independently and in teams.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation.
