Do you have experience in an outpatient/ambulatory medical office or practice setting? Are you looking for a high-impact, hands-on position where you can use your clinical knowledge to drive change and increase quality of care?

Arcadia Solutions is looking for individuals to join our growing delivery teams, where as a Practice Consultant, you would be responsible for assisting a variety of practice types with the implementation and optimization of EHR and PM solutions. Strong candidates would have extensive “super-user” and/or implementation experience with one or more leading EHR/PM applications in physician offices and/or hospital settings. Additionally, direct contribution in optimizing the use of advanced EHR features, improving the clinical workflow, using the EHR to improve measure performance, is highly valued.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of the solutions at a variety of settings and practice types
    • Assess workflow related processes/requirements
    • Facilitate system implementation, enhancement, and modification to meet practice requirements
    • Manage system configuration to customize software
    • Provide support associated with vendor product delivery and setup
  • Drive EHR and process optimization
    • Coach practices in implementing process and system improvements that lead to improved quality of care and patient health outcomes
    • Identify data capture issues
    • Recommend best practices (with respect to EHR functionalities, clinical workflows, and documentation) and provider training to facilitate achievement of clinical measures and preventative care
  • Establish and manage relationships with vendors and physician offices
  • Provide systems workflow redesign consultation
  • Assist practices in attaining stages of Meaningful Use, achieve or advance in Medical Home recognition, become ready to participate in an Accountable Care Organization, and improve performance in quality and other measures
  • Meet project objectives in a timely manner
  • Product-specific knowledge as it relates to EHR optimization and improving workflow
  • Experience with a leading EHR system – Epic, eCW, Athena or Allscripts preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and with groups are requirements
  • Strong project management background preferred
  • Basic understanding of clinical knowledge and measures preferred
  • Experience training and supporting offices through go-live preferred
  • A deep technical background is helpful but not required
  • Must be comfortable with using and learning new technologies
  • Our typical project may require up to 50% – 70% travel and a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle are required
