Practice Management Coordinator

Responsible for assisting in setting goals for the practices and physician billing offices and working closely with other Practice Managers to support activities related to Epic implementations and revenue cycle improvement; assist in the preparation of monthly practice statistical reports; determine the needs and roles of the office staff as it relates to training and education; assist in the reworking of roles within practices to support the Epic functionality; work with the Epic implementation IT teams and the owned practice offices to ensure a smooth transition and assist in the documentation of the office staff and the provider responsibilities/job descriptions in this new environment; work with the office managers to implement scheduling rules and templates to maximize scheduling of patient visits and transition those schedules to the EPIC System once it is implemented. The schedules should improve patient wait times, appointment availability and overall patient satisfaction. Also responsible for analyzing the physician billing business office monthly reports with the practice administrators and facilitate communications between the offices and the billing departments and work with office managers/supervisors to correct/improve physician billing reports.

Associates degree required. Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in physician practice or billing organization required. Must be willing to travel to practice locations. Current, valid New York State driver's license is required.
