Manages clinic day-to-day operations in accordance with Asante’s mission and values to provide high quality health care services. This position ensures economical and efficient clinic performance, working closely with administrative and clinical staff, physicians, and the community to accomplish goals towards the highest level of care. Areas of responsibility include: human resource management, development of clinic policies and procedures, financial performance, and marketing and community relations. Builds and maintains strong collaboration with other APP sites and Leaders. Leads process standardization, identifies trends and root causes across all of APP.

Experience: 8 years experience in operations as a supervisor or manager. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Prefer: 3+ years experience in specialty area. 2 years experience in medical coding/billing processes. Experience in a healthcare clinic environment, such as a physician practice, urgent care or similar setting.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or medical related field or education and experience may substitute 10 years of practice management may substitute for educational qualification. Prefer:

Masters degree in business administration, management, or healthcare related field. Training in leadership and business decision making. Training in Quality Improvement Process and MCMA certification.

Skills/Abilities: Strong communication skills providing ability to communicate and collaborate effectively. Excellent management and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to select, lead, coach, counsel, supervise, evaluate and reward staff, team build, and provide excellent customer service. Ability to independently prioritize/organize follow-through of detail work, solve problems. Demonstrated mathematical skills with ability to develop and implement the operating budget. Demonstrated decision making skills. Demonstrated ability to complete quality projects and tasks in a timely manner.
