Duties And Responsibilities

& Minimum Requirements:
This position will assist the Division Director with day-to-day management of the Division of Infectious Diseases financial activities including post award administration of sponsored projects (federal and industry sponsored), entering online payments and reimbursements, check deposits, petty cash, non-payroll cost transfers, service contracts, monthly reconciliation of expenses, and cost center management.

The position will also process financial transactions, including check requests, PO’s, journal vouchers, invoices, vendor agreements, service agreements, ICA arrangements, honoraria agreements, travel reimbursements (employee and external individuals), petty cash processing, ProCard reconciliation for Infectious Disease clinical trials staff, and other clerical duties as assigned.

Clinical trial and federal grant experience preferred. 1-2 years accounting/budget experience required. Experience working in an Academic setting is also preferred.

Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and have the capacity to interact with a diverse community. Must pay close attention to detail, work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
