Responsible for meal preparation for breakfast, lunch and dinner service as well as cold food prep. Completes the daily production schedule as directed. Properly presents all food items and provides maximum appeal and freshness.
Follows proper handling, preparation and holding guidelines, takes temperatures at regular intervals and maintains foods in sufficient quantities while minimizing over-production and waste.
Assists in preparing all food products as scheduled in the cycle menu to include regular breakfast, lunch and dinner service using Production Sheets and approved recipes.
Maintains kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule.
Communicates appropriately with all food service staff, supervisors and listens effectively.
A minimum of one year experience in food preparation required. Ability to work in a fast paced sandwich/grill/fry station during lunch. Ability to communicate appropriately with all line cooks in order to keep the Cafe line filled with hot, fresh food maintaining quality control at all times.
ServSafe certification preferred.
