The Pricing Analyst works under the Director of Pricing to support pricing optimization across the organization. This role is global in scope and primarily responsible for both sourcing data and conducting analysis and modeling to support both strategic (e.g. offer configuration, setting price structure and list price for new products, discount management policies) and tactical (deal management, negotiation support) pricing decisions inside Kronos. The pricing analyst is also responsible for tracking impact of pricing decisions over time, to ensure recommendations deliver full impact and are adjusted as needed.
The Pricing Analyst should have strong quantitative skills, a basic understanding of business math, and knowledge of business intelligence methods and tools (including how to extract reports from Oracle and other Enterprise applications), clean a raw dataset, and combine data from multiple sources. The qualified candidate should be comfortable both working independently with cross-functional peers to gather data, create reports, and test conclusions and communicating findings to Director-level personnel. Prior experience in pricing is not required, but a candidate should demonstrate interest in pricing as part of their overall career path.
BS/BA degree in Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
Experience with Oracle; ability to work with IT and Finance to generate and mine reports for insight
Demonstrated Excel and Powerpoint ability
Strong quantitative analytical skills, emerging qualitative analytical skills (including basic competitive research)
Strong quality control and attention to detail
Ability to manage to deadlines and escalate concerns in trading off multiple priorities
